The Daphne’s Club Hotel Apartments is located next to the beautiful beach of Sykia and the unique Pefkias forest in Xylokastro. A 90-minute drive from Athens, the Daphnes Club is ideal for a short city break or a longer holiday in the countryside. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the hotel is a small oasis of peace and tranquility. The comfortable and sunny apartments can accommodate up to five people. Breakfast at the Daphne’s Club is served without time constraints, based on Greek recipes with local products. The day starts with freshly ground Greek coffee, hand-picked Greek tea from Mount Ziria, herbal teas, Greek organic milk and fresh orange juice (organic when possible). There is always homemade organic bread, butter, tahini or halva and natural Greek honey. Visitors may enjoy homemade jams and fruit preserves, Greek yogurt and cheese, cold cuts, dried fruits, nuts and Kalamata olives. Specialty dishes include the traditional rice pudding (ryzogalo) or cream, the “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato, cheese, or local delicatessen), the sweet pie, cake or dessert of the day (e.g. “bougatsa” pie or “loukoumades” – honey dumplings) and pie with greens, cheese or zucchinis.
