Althea Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to experience the authentic Greek Karpathian hospitality. The hotel is located in the area of Amoopi, on the island of Karpathos (Southern Aegean Sea).
Althea Boutique Hotel consists of 21 themed apartments, a building with the reception and breakfast area. Each apartment has its own private independent entrance. In the front of each apartment is a big private terrace with sea view. The local architecture of the hotel makes it stand out in the area, it resembles a Greek village.

At Althea Boutique Hotel – Adults Only, breakfast is an integral part of the hospitality experience we offer our guests. Inspired by the island’s rich culinary heritage, our breakfast is served à la carte and showcases fresh, local products and traditional Karpathian flavors.
Each morning, the core menu includes freshly brewed filter coffee, homemade lemonade or freshly squeezed orange juice, handmade cookies, and preservative-free jams made from locally sourced fruits.
A highlight of our breakfast is the traditional Greek strained yogurt, served with fresh seasonal fruit, a secret blend of nuts and seeds, and premium local thyme honey—an authentic and nourishing combination that reflects the essence of Karpathian simplicity and taste.
Our menu is further complemented by a curated selection of local cheeses and cold cuts. Additionally, we offer a daily “special” inspired by the island’s culinary traditions—such as omelets with local eggs, traditional Karpathian sweet bread (kouloura) with manouli cheese, or Karpathian-style pancakes.
Every dish is prepared with care and served with a warm smile, inviting our guests to start their day with genuine flavors, high-quality ingredients, and the heartfelt hospitality of the Aegean.
