Petimezopita

2 cups of petimezi
1½ cup olive oil
1½ cup orange juice
1½ cup water
1 cup sugar
4½ cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1½ teaspoon cinnamon
1½ teaspoon ground cloves
honey for brushing

Petimezopita

Preheat oven to 180 °C.
In a mixing bowl, beat olive oil orange juice, water, petimezi, sugar with mixer at low speed until well blended. In another bowl, stir in the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and the ground cloves and add the mixture to the mixer. Beat together until the batter is smooth. Lightly oil the bottom of cake pan and pour in the batter.

Petimezopita

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes until golden brown pie and cooked through to the center. Try if pie is ready inserting a knife in the center s. If the knife comes out dry, then the pie is ready. Leave petimezopita to cool and brush the surface with honey before cutting into pieces and serve.
