The 3 star Amaryllis hotel is located in Kalamaki on the island of Zakynthos. It is a family run hotel with many traditional architectural elements of the Ionian Islands. There is a restaurant in a separate garden of the hotel where Mediterranean, Greek and local cuisine is served. The hotel consists of two separate buildings, with the main one housing the reception area, lobby and bar and large verandas with views of the garden and the swimming pool.
The rich breakfast buffet at the “Avlis” restaurant includes products from Zakynthos and Greece. Guests will find village style bread from a local bakery as well as rusks, bread with local raisins and many other bread products. There are also homemade jams and spoon sweets, traditional sweets such as “melachrino”, “bobota”, halva, pies, yoghurt, “mandolato” (nougat), “pasteli” (nuts and honey bar) and many more local delicacies.
