Built on a hill outside the city of Trikala, overlooking the plain of Thessaly, the brand new Ananti City Resort is close to many popular tourist destinations. The Greek breakfast buffet at Ananti City Resort offers its guests many bread varieties, fresh orange juice and fruits. There is also local yoghurt, local eggs and village style pies with handmade phyllo dough (pies with wild herbs, cheese pies, sausage pies). There is pure honey and homemade jams. Guests will also find tahini spread, marinated olives, halva with tahini and semolina pudding (halva), “loukoumi” (Turkish delight), homemade “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and locally produced mushrooms. The cheese selection includes “kasseri” of Trikala, “manouri”, feta, “kefalotyri” and gruyere and there is also a platter of cold cuts.
