Breakfast is based on the principles of the Cretan diet, offering local ingredients and traditional dishes. Guests should try among others: rusks, gruyere with honey, “ksynomyzithra” cheese and traditional yoghurt. There are also local jams, pure honey, extra virgin Cretan olive oil, local organic salads, vegetables, fresh fruits and juices. Cold cuts include “syglino” and “apaki” (smoked pork). Hot dishes feature “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato), pies with “myzithra” cheese, “bougatsa” pie, “lychnarakia”, and pies with greens. For the perfect ending, herbal beverages and Greek coffee are offered to guests.
