The Bio Suites Hotel is a four star family hotel situated in a quiet area of the historic city of Rethymno on Crete, just 50m from the sandy beach. It has three types of spacious, air conditioned, suites, all with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and other amenities: suites for 2-3 persons, Junior suites for 2-4 people and Family suites for 6 people.

Our goal is to give our customers a sense of the local gastronomy and familiarity with ingredients through taste, encouraging a friendly relationship with our country.
Breakfast contains selected products and dishes from Crete and Greece in general. Starting off with breads selection from the neighbourhood bakery, there are also traditional Cretan baked products such as barley rusks, plain or with olive oil, rusks from Sfakia, rusks with orange. The handmade cookies, baked at the hotel, are served plain or filled with local jam. Cretan “Dakos” rusk (with tomato, feta, caper, oregano and olive oil) is a must-try specialty. There is milk, yoghurt and cheese selection (“manouri”, gruyere from Crete, “anthotyro”, feta), butter and local honey. Virgin olive oil from Crete is paired with Cretan olives and local spoon sweets, jams, dried fruits. Hot dishes include omelettes with “apaki” ham, “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato and feta), “Sfouggato” (omelet with zucchini), soups, pies with traditional dough (cheese pies, pies with greens, spinach pies, leeks pies and “bougatsa”). Sweets include semolina pudding (halva) and “loukoumades” (dumplings with honey), “ksirotigana” (fritters with honey), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), vanilla or chocolate cream, “lyhnarakia” pies with “myzithra” cheese or herbs, “kaltsounia”. Beverages offered are herbal infusions like “diktamo”, “malotira”, sage, chamomile and cool “kanelada” (with cinnamon).
