The Mirabello Beach and Village serves breakfast based on gourmet delicacies with products and ingredients supplied by local producers. For starters, there is Greek coffee or herbal beverages, such as sage, “diktamo”, “malotyra”, chamomile or linden. There is fresh bread every day, various rusks, cookies and biscuits. The Olive Oil Bar serves 20 kinds of olive oil and a selection of olive varieties, honey varieties, homemade orange and apple jams, dried fruits, as well as walnuts, almonds and zucchini seeds. Guests will enjoy sheep’s yoghurt – plain or with honey and walnuts. There is also a wide selection of traditional Cretan cheeses such as gruyere, “kefalotyri”, feta, “anthotyros”, “myzithra”, “ksigalo” and “ksynomyzithra”. The cold cuts selection includes “apaki” (smoked pork) and village style sausages. There are also fresh fruits and local specialties such as “kalitsounia” (with “myzithra” and honey), “bougatsa” pie, cheese pie and pie with greens, “myzithra” pie, “sfouggato” (omelet with tomato and zucchini), and fried eggs with “apaki”. As for sweets, there are “kserotigana” (fritters), halva, “lychnarakia”, various spoon sweets and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) prepared on the premises.
