
The Nana Beach Hotel is set on the beautiful beach of Drapanos in Hersonisos. Apart from spacious and well equipped rooms, the hotel boasts an organized sandy beach with a Water Sports Center and a diving center. There are also many restaurants and snack bars, outdoor pools, three of which with a Jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of dishes from the Greek and international cuisine.
Fresh bread of various types, such as olive bread, is served daily, together with a wide variety of biscuits, cakes, pure honey and “tsoureki” (sweet bread).
The famous pies of Crete alternate daily on the buffet and include “myzithropitakia” (with myzithra cheese), triangular spinach pie, “marathopitakia” (with fennel), “sfakianopites”, and baked “kalitsounia”. Desserts include “diples” (fritters with honey), “lychnarakia” (with sweet cheese), the well known “ksirotigana” (fritters) of Crete, “loukoumades” (dumplings) with honey, “galatopita” (milk pie), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), various spoon sweets, and nuts.
Visitors can also try omelettes with fresh vegetables, wild greens or sausages. The famous Cretan rusk is served with grated fresh tomato, oregano, olive oil and “teleme” cheese. There is also a selection of the best Cretan cheeses like gruyere, “kefalotyri”, “anthotyro”, “ksinomyzithra”, as well as yoghurt and milk cream.
