The Santikos Mansion is situated in the region of Pelion, in the village of Vizitsa, one of the most picturesque mountainous villages. The Santikos mansion was built in the early 1800s and is a rare example of a typical Pelion mansion. The view to the Aegean Sea beyond the roofs of the village houses is breathtaking. There are two traditional lounges at the Santikos mansion and each of the elegantly decorated rooms has a symbolic name taken from the Greek mythology such as “Eros”, “Daphne”, “Icarus” and Pandora”.
Greek breakfast comprises traditional delicacies such as homemade jams, sweets, pies -all prepared with local ingredients. At the breakfast table guests will find bread, milk, coffee, butter, honey, fresh orange and apple juice, homemade cakes, apple pie, “bougatsa” (traditional sweet with phyllo and cream), walnut pie, “galaktoboureko” (syrupy milk pie) and “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake). Guests who like savory dishes will love the traditional dishes at the Santikos Mansion, such as pie with greens, pumpkin pie, cheese pie, the various cold cuts, yoghurt, and eggs (boiled, fried, omelet).
