The Greek breakfast buffet includes fresh bread, rusks, “dakos” rusks with cheese and handmade cookies. There are cold cuts, cheese and fresh yoghurt. The eggs are produced by the hotel owners. The “chlori” (traditional cheese) is paired with a variety of fruits as well as local thyme honey, homemade jams and spoon sweets. The fresh various pies such as mushroom pie, spinach pie, pie with zucchinis, cheese pie, are really worth trying. A local delicacy, the “kitrinokouloura” (yellow buns), are traditional buns made with cheese and saffron; the baked “poughia” (pouches filled with “chlori” cheese) as well as fried “poughia” (made with “chlori” cheese, sugar and cinnamon with honey) are also breakfast highlights. As for dessert, there are various cakes, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) with fresh goat’s milk, “diples” and “kserotigana” (traditional sweets) and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings). Among other beverages, guests may choose fresh orange juice, various herbal teas (chamomile and sage, linden and verbena), and Greek coffee.
