The Ecotourism Hotel “Forest Inn” at Dadia is inside the National Park of Dadia-Lefkimi-Soufli, just 500m from the settlement of Dadia. Surrounded by 70 square km of protected area, it is home to some rare species and bird (vultures etc.). The hotel was renovated in 2015 and has 20 fully equipped rooms. There is also a breakfast area and a caf? where guests can have coffee and sweets as well as snacks to accompany a drink.
The “Forest Inn” Ecotourism Hotel of Dadia serves a Greek traditional breakfast with many kinds of fresh bread from a traditional bakery paired with honey from the forest of Dadia, tahini (sesame paste) from Komotini, peanut butter from Alexandroupolis. There are also handmade biscuits, cake and handmade jams, made with organic fruit and fresh fruits. Dairies include ariani milk and goat’s cheese from a local producer, feta cheese from Soufli as well as traditional yoghurt. Guests will taste boiled eggs, special omelet with “kavourmas” (local meat delicacy) cold cuts and handmade cheese pie with traditional phyllo dough. Beverages include Greek coffee, mountain tea from Rodopi, “flamouri” herbal tea, chamomile, marjoram (all handpicked by the owners) and there are also spoon sweets and “ritseli” (pumpkin boiled in grape must).
