The Greek breakfast buffet at the Louis Creta Princess includes local traditional products, such as “loukoumi” (Turkish delight), “melekouni” (honey and nuts bar), halva, tahini and spoon sweets such as bitter orange, fig, quince and water melon. There are various bakery products (barley buns, rusks, multi grain or sesame bread sticks, olive pies and cheese-bread). Capers, olives and sun dried tomatoes, dried fruits such as plums, apricots, figs and dates can be found daily at the breakfast buffet together with various dairy products such as sheep’s yoghurt, feta, gruyere, “kasseri” and “anthotyro” cheese. Hot dishes such as “kagiana” (eggs and tomato), giant beans, spinach and cheese pie are also offered. As for sweets, there is “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “bougatsa” (cream-filled pie), walnut pie, “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake), and syrupy treats will phyllo such as baklava, “saragli” and “gianiotiko”.
