A rich Greek buffet is served at the “Symposium” with Greek products being the most popular. There are many breads and traditional sesame “koulouri” bun, cakes, “tsoureki” (filled with chestnut, chocolate), honey cookies and syrupy semolina cake (“ravani”). There are fresh and dried fruits as well as juices and a wide selection of dairy products. Guests can find feta, goat’s cheese with herbs, “manouri” cheese, “kasseri”, “anthotyro” cheese as well as fresh milk, yoghurt, and other dairies. Guests should try mini pies with poppy seed, wild greens, olives, peppers and “feta” cheese, “bougatsa” pastry with cream, chocolate, or cheese, eggs cooked in various ways like omelet with feta and “kasseri” cheese, tomato and onion, as well as “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with vegetables.) There is a selection of cold cuts. Spreads include honey from flowers, white tahini spread, jams, spoon sweets, various Greek olives, “trahanas” (traditional pasta) and dried nuts. As for sweets there is walnut pie without syrup, yoghurt pie, “pasta flora” jam tart, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), milk pie, “tiganites” (pancakes with feta), “trigona” of Panorama (cream filled triangular pastries) and many more treats.
