Guests can have Cretan “dakos” (barley rusk) with various types of olives, small tomatoes from a local producer and virgin olive oil from Crete. There are also cookies and rusks from the traditional bakery, cakes, “fanouropita” (traditional pie), French toast with honey and walnuts, apple pie or cream-filled “bougatsa” pie and pasteli (honey and nuts bar). Dried fruits and nuts accompany the Greek yoghurt. There is also “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and a variety of fresh fruits.
The selection of cheeses from the Cyclades features dry “anthotyro” and “ksinomyzithra” from Paros, gruyere from Naxos, “kopanisti” from Mykonos, and “basket feta” cheese from Limnos.
Hot dishes include “kagiana” (eggs with cheese and tomato), savory French toasts (with tomato, feta and omelet), “patsavouropita” pie, spinach pie or cheese pie.
