Breakfast at the Anastasia features many traditional recipes of Naxos, based on the products supplied daily by local producers. The homemade breakfast includes coffee, juice, fresh fruit, handmade jams, honey from Naxos, Greek yoghurt, eggs cooked in a variety of ways, handmade pies, spoon sweets of Naxos (such as cherry and bergamot), “loukoumi” (Turkish delight), dried fruits and nuts. The platter of local cheeses includes “graviera” (gruyere), “kefalotyri” and “ksynomyzithra” cheese, paired with refreshing salads. A meal that is healthy and balanced as it is based on the Mediterranean diet, prepared exclusively with olive oil from Naxos.
