Greek and mostly traditional products of Naxos are served at the breakfast buffet of the Nissaki Beach Hotel. Various coffees (including Greek) are served alongside local milk and teas, fresh butter, traditional jams, local honey, bread sticks, homemade cookies, fresh bread, a selection of local cheeses and cold cuts. There is also fresh natural orange juice, fresh fruits and vegetables. Various kinds of pies alternate daily, as well as mini apple pies, apple pie with quaker, strawberry tarts, baked desserts, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie and fresh “tiganites” (pancakes). Guests may also try the omelet with local eggs, mushrooms filled with local cheeses and the cool salads. There is also a yoghurt bar with a selection of fresh and dried products to accompany your yoghurt. Hotel speciality dishes include baked tomatoes with local “anthotyro” cheese, traditional baklava (syrupy dessert) from Naxos and savory cake with local gruyere and figs.
