The Porto Lourbas Hotel is perfectly located right in front of the sea and offers stunning views of the Bay of Corinth and Galaxidi. It is surrounded by an olive grove whose olives and oil are used in the preparation of various dishes that are served at breakfast. The outdoor areas, the traditional stone fountain, the verdant garden and the swimming pool are ideal for relaxation. The interior decoration of the hotel is just as traditional as the outdoor areas and the rooms feature many modern amenities.
The Greek breakfast includes a plethora of traditional dishes such as bread, baked early in the morning, with flour from local flour mills and bakery products such as cakes, buns, “diples” (fritters), and breadsticks. Fresh fruits from the hotel’s trees are paired with traditional yoghurt and cheese, boiled or fried eggs, omelettes with sausage, “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato) and omelettes with asparagus (when in season). Guests may also try local olives, handmade pies (such as cheese pie, traditional pie with wild greens, pie with zucchinis, leek pie), honey from a local producer and handmade jams. Breakfast is complete with the famous semolina pudding (halva), apricot or peach compote, orange juice, milk, lemonade from the garden lemons, mountain tea, chamomile, various types of coffee (Greek brewed the traditional way)
