The Greek Breakfast buffet at the Alkyonis offers a variety of traditional Greek products of excellent quality. There are many bread varieties, seasonal fruits, vegetable salads, olives and traditional classic yoghurt. Also served is feta cheese from Macedonia and eggs from the neighboring village, cooked in various styles. Guests should try the traditional pies such as “bougatsa” with cream or cheese, spinach and cheese pie, mini pies with sausage, “kasseri” cheese or ham, cream, spinach, zucchini, and many other fillings. There is also organic honey from a local producer, tahini spread, traditional local spoon sweets paired with yoghurt. House specialties include semolina pudding (halva), “trahana” (pebble-sized pasta) soup or vegetable soup, as well as the excellent traditional couscous. There is an assortment of teas, hot milk from Macedonia and Greek coffee traditionally brewed.
