A rich traditional breakfast is served daily at the Filoxenia hotel. Guests will find fresh bread, bread sticks, homemade orange cookies or “moustokouloura” (cookies with grape must), juices, fruits, homemade jams (strawberry, fig), honey from Pelio, and homemade spoon sweets. There are also boiled and fried eggs, butter, “tyropsomo” (cheese bread), cheese or spinach pies (with homemade phyllo), olives, tomatoes, cucumber, yoghurt, feta and kasseri cheese. Desserts feature “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake), homemade cakes, “stafidopsomo” (raisin bread), all paired with Greek coffee, fresh milk or local mountain tea.

Every day, a traditional Greek Breakfast is served with quality fresh ingredients. There is fresh bread, traditional pies (pie with greens, cheese pie, pie with peppers, all made at the hotel kitchen with fresh traditional local products). Freshly baked bruschetta with feta and tomato sprinkled with the aromatic oregano of Pelion and virgin olive oil alternate daily with delicious cheese bites (fresh dough with feta baked in the hotel oven). Guests will also find a platter of cheeses and cold cuts as well as eggs (omelet, fried, “strapatsada” (scrambled with tomato) – that alternate daily. The desserts corner features handmade orange and chocolate cakes, as well as traditional sweet pies such as orange pie, walnut pie, apple pie and milk pie, sweet yoghurt mousse, from local yoghurt, sprinkled with walnuts, cheese cake with sour cherries. There are also homemade jams, thyme honey and traditional yoghurt, fresh fruit juice, milk, herbal beverages and Greek coffee.

The breakfast buffet at the guesthouse serves traditional bread, vanilla or cinnamon cookies, breadsticks, Cretan oil rusks and village style toasted bread slices, jams, local honey, and homemade spoon sweets. There is also peach compote, apples, chestnuts, cherries and other fruits (when in season), orange juice, tomatoes, “kaseri” cheese from Elassona, gruyere from Crete, traditional feta and yoghurt, full milk and pure butter. Also available are omelettes, eggs (boiled, fried, poached or scrambled) “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato), paired with cold cuts. Guests can try various pies such as traditional cheese pie or cheese bread, semolina pudding (halva) or tahini halva, various teas and coffees, herbal beverages (mountain tea mint, tilia, chamomile and sage.

Breakfast at Dohos Hotel is served at the veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea and offers guests a traditional Greek experience with products from local producers. The greens and vegetables are from the hotel’s own garden. There are handmade jams and spoon sweets from local cooperatives, cold cuts, hot trahanas (traditional pasta), local cheeses, fresh free range eggs, handmade pies, freshly squeezed orange juice and fragrant Greek coffee.

At the “Open Kitchen” Restaurant of Domotel Xenia Volos, a rich buffet breakfast is served daily based on both local products and Greek products. All of the guests start start their day with fresh bread, traditional Pelion sweets, cheeses made by local producers, traditional olives of Pelion and the local tsitsiravla pickles made from pistacia terebinthus shoots.
The visitors can make the authentic Greek coffee in hovoli, while they can taste the local “moustoloukouma”, the local sesame halvah, sausages from Karditsa, fresh eggs, red beans from Kierion village, fresh pies, frumenty made by milk or tomato. Also many traditional pies are served such as yogurt pie, sweet pecan pie, apple pie with chestnuts, honey balls, semolina halvah with cinnamon powder and fresh fruits such as apples from Zagorin, cherries and figs from Pelion).

Guests will enjoy breakfast in the beautiful garden with breathtaking views of Meteora. The breakfast buffet includes a wide selection of local products such as fresh bread from the traditional village bakery, homemade jams, honey from Meteora, traditional cookies and cookies with grape must (“moustokouloura”). There is also fresh milk, a variety of coffees and teas, eggs, yoghurt from a local producer, local feta cheese and fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. Special dishes include saut?ed mushrooms, black eyed bean salad, local sausages, hot “trahanas” soup (with traditional pasta), split peas, home produced olive oil and a selection of cold cuts. For dessert there is traditional “loukoumi” (Turkish delight) and semolina pudding (“halva”).

The Greek breakfast offers coffee or traditional beverages, such as chamomile or mountain tea, combined with cookies or freshly baked vanilla, chocolate or orange cakes that are made on the premises. Many types of bread are available (wheat, whole wheat and village style) paired with traditional citrus marmalade made during the winter with fresh oranges, tangerine and lemons from the gardens of the family. There are also various delicious sweet or savory pies: (sweet “ryzopita” (rice pie), traditional “alevropita” (flour pie) of Pelion and “giaourtopita” (yogurt pie) from Karditsa. Guests may try a bowl of hot soup, like the bean soup of Pelion, paired with homemade rusks with oregano and thyme from the mountains of Skopelos. Yoghurt is served with local honey, jams, a selection of Greek traditional salads, olives from Skopelos and fresh vegetables.

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Dionyssos includes two types of handmade bread (white and rye), rusks, cake, cookies and mini apple pies. Dairy products include milk, full fat yoghurt, cold cuts and cheeses (yellow, feta and “anthotyro”). Guests may try boiled and fried eggs, scrambled eggs with tomato (“strapatsada”), and Greek omelet. The homemade sweets such as cake, apple pie, syrupy semolina cake (“ravani”), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and traditional spoon sweets, are highly recommended. There is also a fresh fruit selection, two types of olives, two kinds of local jams, honey from Skopelos, vegetables and traditional pies such as spinach pie or cheese pie. Drinks and beverages feature coffee (Greek and other kinds), tea and herbal beverages such as mountain tea, sage, mint and spearmint.

The Triantafillies serves breakfast with a wide selection of traditional delicacies such as fresh bread, fresh fruits, juices and fruit salads or vegetables, all prepared on the premises. Guests will find yoghurt, milk, butter, free range eggs (boiled, fried, omelet), cold cuts and olives.
Recommended are the homemade cakes (orange, vanilla, chocolate), the handmade pies (cheese pies, pies with greens, pies with peppers), the local honey and the tahini, plain or with cocoa.
Finally, there are local traditional jams, olive oil, dried nuts (raisins, walnuts), herbal beverages as well as fragrant Greek coffee.

There is also yoghurt, traditional “trahanas” soup, “avgofetes” (French toast), traditional pies (cheese pie, pie with greens, milk pie, apple pie, zucchini pie, orange pie, walnut pie, all made with local products), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), spoon sweets of Pelion, semolina pudding (halva) and “kagianas” (scrambled eggs and tomato). A selection of Greek cheeses (among them feta, local “kasseri” and “galotyri”), cold cuts, olives, dried and fresh fruits, fruit juices, fruit salads and local vegetables are served. Greek coffee, traditionally brewed, and herbal beverages (mountain tea, sage or chamomile) provide a perfect ending to a filling breakfast.

The Bebis hotel serves Greek breakfast based on local recipes and products of the region, with fresh dishes cooked by the chef. Guests will find fresh bread from the village bakery, homemade jams, honey from local producers, a variety of cakes and sweets, traditional yoghurt and a selection of fruits. Guests should definitely try the traditional sweets and pies based on grandmother’s recipes. There are cheese pies and pies with greens, all made with handmade phyllo dough and pure, fresh ingredients. Desserts include apple pie, fruit pie and sweets with cinnamon and raisins.

In the winter, guests may start with traditional herbal beverages like mountain tea, sage, linden (all picked from the Pelion mountain) and enjoy handmade “trahanas” soup (traditional pasta), dried fruits and nuts, apple pie with walnuts, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, cake with plums, “pasta flora” jam tart “tiganites” (pancakes), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), cream and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). In the summer the options are more refreshing and include “dakos” (Cretan rusks, “ksynomyzithra” cheese and fresh oregano, tomato, olives), “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato), sponge cake, cake with peaches and many others.
