The Frini offers a wide selection of traditional dishes. There is fresh bread, cookies and homemade cakes, various pastry items and freshly baked traditional pies. Guests will find fresh eggs (fried, boiled or omelet), various cold cuts and local cheeses, local jams, honey, “tahini” and spoon sweets. The breakfast buffet also serves olives, fresh vegetables, olive oil, fruits, various beverages (Greek coffee, milk, tea), a selection of juices, traditional yoghurt and various fruit compotes.

Επιπλέον, κανείς δε μπορεί να παραλείψει τις αλμυρές πίτες, όπως η σπανακόπιτα, η τυρόπιτα με παραδοσιακό χειροποίητο φύλλο και τα κιχί Κοζάνης (στριφτόπιτες τυριών και χορταρικών).

Guests at the Estia may choose from a menu that includes some delicious local and Greek options. There is “kagianas” (scrambled eggs and fresh tomato sauce), syglino (local smoked pork preserved in salt) and omelet (with feta, fresh tomato, peppers and olives). Guests will also find “tsoureki” (sweet bread), fresh salads and fruit juice. Recommended is the tahini with honey served on toasted bread, yoghurt (with honey and dried nuts or fresh fruits), “meze” with village style pork sausage with orange, as well as a platter with “lalaggia” and cheeses (kasseri and other types). The breakfast buffet also serves Greek coffee, herbal teas from the hotel garden such as fresh mint, “diktamo” and verbena.

The Eumelia offers a rich Greek breakfast. Guests will find fresh bread, chocolate cake, marmalade with local citrus fruits from Laconia and organic jams made with quince and grapes. Guests will find home baked apple pie, spinach pie and mini cheese pies. There is also traditional yoghurt of Laconia, organic eggs and olives produced at the farm and honey from the region. The delicious “ryzogalo”” (rice pudding), and savoury “tiganopsomo” (fritter with cheese) are also recommended. The oranges and pomegranates of Laconia await guests every day together with freshly squeezed juice, mountain tea of Laconia and Greek coffee.

The Greek breakfast buffet features many local delicacies. From the hot dishes guests may choose an omelet or the traditional Messinian “kagianas” (eggs with with meat preserved in salt), handmade pies, sausages, “bougatsa” pie, “lalaggides” with honey and cinnamon, to name but a few. A selection of cold cuts and cheeses, yoghurt and rusks with tomato and feta cheese are also offered. Local figs, olives, raisins and crunchy “pasteli” bites (sesame paste with honey and sesame seeds), dried nuts, fresh fruits and fresh orange juice, are highly recommended. Bread, jams and spoon sweets complement the buffet. “Loukoumi” treats, traditional “diples” (fritters), “moustalevria” (grape must pudding), “melomakarona” and “kourabiedes” (traditional Christmas sweets), milk pies and orange pies, have their place on the breakfast buffet depending on the season. In conclusion, guests may enjoy their morning coffee or mountain tea from Taygetos.

The Elite City Resort serves a rich breakfast with international dishes but also features a corner showcasing the products and recipes of Messinia. Herbal teas, like sage and tea of Taygetos, various coffees (including traditional Greek) and freshly squeezed orange juice, are offered to guests as a greeting. There is also fresh bread, local cheese, such as feta, gruyere, “sfela”, anthotyro and yoghurt. Guests can also taste salted pork from Kalamata, “lalaggia” (traditional sweet of the region), cookies from Mani, oil and barley rusks with freshly grated tomatoes. There is virgin olive oil, olives of Kalamata and dried figs flavored with oregano. Hot dishes include “tiganopsoma” (fritters with cheese) and sausages with orange from Mani. Desserts include fresh Kalamata pasteli made with 100% honey, walnuts and blackcurrants, homemade cookies, homemade jams, honey from Taygetos, apple pie and “loukoumades” (dumplings with honey and grated walnut.)

Breakfast at the Daphne’s Club is served without time constraints, based on Greek recipes with local products. The day starts with freshly ground Greek coffee, hand-picked Greek tea from Mount Ziria, herbal teas, Greek organic milk and fresh orange juice (organic when possible). There is always homemade organic bread, butter, tahini or halva and natural Greek honey. Visitors may enjoy homemade jams and fruit preserves, Greek yogurt and cheese, cold cuts, dried fruits, nuts and Kalamata olives. Specialty dishes include the traditional rice pudding (ryzogalo) or cream, the “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato, cheese, or local delicatessen), the sweet pie, cake or dessert of the day (e.g. “bougatsa” pie or “loukoumades” – honey dumplings) and pie with greens, cheese or zucchinis.

The breakfast buffet at the Dioscouri hotel includes whole wheat bread and white bread, “tsoureki” (sweet bread), orange cookies, rusks with raisin and oil from the local bakery. There are also handmade cakes, organic honey from Taygetos and homemade jams such as bitter orange, quince and apricot. The feta from Taygetos, tomato salad with oregano, local olives, omelet with sausages from Mani and “kagianas” (scrambled eggs with tomato) are recommended. Visitors will also taste fresh orange juice made with oranges from region, mountain tea from Taygetos, yoghurt with fruit compote, fresh fruits and coffee.

A rich breakfast buffet with local traditional products from the land of Messinia and other Greek delicacies is served daily at the hotel. Various types of fresh bread from the traditional neighborhood bakery are paired with homemade jams, cookies and cake, freshly baked biscuits, various types of yoghurt, butter, fried or boiled eggs, local “kagianas” (scrambled eggs with tomato and cheese) and fresh juices. Recommended are the delicious pies made with the best and freshest ingredients. There is traditional spinach pie, cheese pie, pie with mushrooms and pies with wild greens. Other unique delicacies such as “koutalides” (a local traditional product), homemade “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) and the traditional smoked salted ham (a local delicacy), add variety to the breakfast buffet.

A rich breakfast buffet with traditional products from Andritsena is served daily at the hotel breakfast room. There is fresh bread, homemade cake and jams, local yoghurt, fresh butter, homemade cookies, fresh eggs, thyme honey, village style cheese pies and milk pie. The traditional “trahanas” (pasta soup) of Andritsena will give guests the necessary boost to start their day.

Breakfast is prepared with local ingredients and influenced by the local cuisine, which reflects the Mediterranean Diet. Dairies include fresh milk, yoghurt, butter and local cheeses (“sfela” and “talagani”), paired with honey of Taygetos and thyme honey of Kythira. The pies (with wild greens, cheese, vegetable etc.) are very popular with guests. The many types of fresh bread, biscuits and various bakery products will complement breakfast. Guests should make sure to taste the famous “lalaggia” of Mani, plain or with honey, the well-known Kalamata olives and famous olive oil.
Greek cold cuts, fresh eggs cooked in a variety of ways, handmade “hortokeftedes” (veggie balls), sun dried and fresh vegetables as well as fresh fruits, are also available. The selection of sweets includes the honey and nuts “pasteli” bar, the “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), fresh biscuits and sweet pies. All these may be accompanied by Greek traditional coffee.

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Byzantino uses the best local ingredients and features many dishes based on traditional recipes. Home baked bread and “propyra”, a savory flat type of bread served plain or with cheese, olives or onion are served daily with homemade cookies, rusks, cakes as well as bread sticks, dried fruits and nuts. Guests may try fruit salad, yoghurt, “kagiana” (scrambled eggs with tomato), olives, tomato and cucumber, pure honey, homemade jams and spoon sweets. A platter of cheese and cold cuts includes feta, “kasseri” cheese and local cheeses (“ladotyri” and “touloumotyri”). As for beverages there is coffee, mountain tea, and freshly squeezed juice from the famous local oranges.
