Breakfast at the Kalafati starts with coffee, tea and mountain tea from the region, fresh milk, butter, traditional yoghurt from local producers and orange juice. Guests will find wheat and rye toasts, multigrain bread sticks and breadsticks with sesame, three types of cookies, biscuits, as well as white and rye bread from a traditional bakery of Itea. Spreads include handmade organic jams (strawberry, cherry, peach, apricot etc), honey from local producers and organic tahini.
Cheeses (feta and yellow cheese) and cold cuts are paired with tomatoes, cucumber and fresh fruits, mostly citrus fruits from Fokida. There are also boiled eggs, omelet, fried eggs with sausages and compotes. Recommended is the homemade milk pie, the “spiral” pie of Roumeli, the vanilla-chocolate cake baked daily on the premises, and the pasta flora jam tart with fresh jams of the season. The breakfast buffet is complete with black and green olives from Amfissa.

The Greek breakfast at the Ilia Mare hotel contains traditional, local recipes prepared with fresh ingredients. Delicious homemade jams, spoon sweets made with fruits from the farm and home baked pies with milk and eggs from the family farm offer the most delicious and nutritious start to the day. There are also freshly baked homemade traditional “striftes” (twisted) pies with Greek fillings.

There is also traditional pasta (trahanas) from Evritania and homemade cakes. The excellent products of Evritania take centre stage: yoghurt, honey, walnuts, homemade jams, eggs (boiled, fried, omelet), sausages with leeks, feta and gruyere, “kefalograviera” cheese, the traditional “tsalafouti” or “katiki” cheese, the naturally matured prosciutto of Evritania and other cold cuts. Desserts feature traditional, local spoon sweets, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), semolina pudding (halva), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), homemade “pasteli” with honey and sesame and handmade “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake). Every day village-style homemade pies and fresh fruits, compotes, tomatoes and olives are served. As for drinks there is natural orange juice, Greek coffee, a variety of tea and herbal beverages (sage, chamomile, linden,mountain tea) and fresh milk.

Feta cheese and fresh vegetables, such as tomatoes and cucumbers, Greek yoghurt, honey, fruit salad with fresh fruit and home made jams are permanent items on the menu. Freshly baked pies with spinach and cheese, dolled or fired eggs with sausages, a selection of cereals, croissants and seasonal fruits make for a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Desserts include Greek sesame halva, fruit jelly and tiramisu cake.

The Greek breakfast buffet at Herodion offers handmade specialities fully prepared on the premises: homestyle bread (whole wheat and/or with raisins), freshly baked pies (cheese pie Epirus-style, wild greens from Crete, ham and cheese pie) as well as “bougatsa” (custard pie), honey dumplings (loukoumades) and piroshki, a Russian pocket of dough with potato or “feta” and “anthotyro” cheese. There is also a wide selection of homemade sweets (cakes, “pasta flora” jam tart, chocolate dessert, fruit jams, traditional “ravani” (semolina cake with syrup), walnut pie and almond pie. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available and dairy products feature milk, yoghurt or “ryzogalo” (rice pudding).
There are also sesame ring buns and rusks from Kythira, “tsoureki” (sweet egg bread) with mastic from Chios, cold cuts from Greek producers. The cheese selection has “kefalotyri” from Lesvos and feta from Epirus, gruyere and “anthotyro” from Vytina. Fresh farm eggs are cooked in three different ways (fried, boiled and scambled). There is a wide selection of beverages (about 15 types of tea), herbal teas and many types of coffees -Greek coffee brewed the traditional way. The kitchen can cater for special dietary needs upon request.

There is also 100% cow’s butter, seasonal handmade cheeses with local pasteurized milk, traditional Greek coffee, various mountain herbal beverages, and fresh milk. All the meals are prepared in the kitchen with extra virgin olive oil and certified local products with emphasis on the Mediterranean gastronomy.

The rich breakfast buffet of the Grande Bretagne hotel is served daily in the Roof Garden restaurant with breathtaking views of the Acropolis and Athens. The fresh, high quality products, are both international and Greek. The local products offered include a variety of Greek cheeses (feta, kaseri, manouri, anthotyro) as well as yoghurt, olive, pistachios, honey and jams, Greek sesame bread rings (Thessalonian koulouri), rice pudding (ryzogalo), cream-filled fyllo pastry (bougatsa), cheese pie, spinach pie, sweet egg bread (tsoureki), kaltsounia (Cretan sweet cheese pastries) and Greek coffee.
Visitors may enjoy the Greek breakfast in their rooms with a selection of fresh juices (orange, grape fruit or carrot,) a basket of baked products (bread, cheese and spinach pies, sesame bun and wholewheat mutli-grain bread.) Scrambled eggs with feta and tomato (Strapatsada), is also on the menu, as well as home made jams from Greek fruits, honey and butter.

The Golden City hotel serves its breakfast buffet daily, showcasing Greek products like feta cheese, olives, home made jams, honey, as well as a selection of traditional spoon sweets and compotes. The eggs are cooked in various styles (boiled, omelettes). A selection of cold cuts is offered daily (ham, mortadella), Greek freshly baked bread, cheese pie and apple pie, Greek salad (tomato – cucumber) and cheeses. There is a dessert of the day, croissants (chocolate, raisin, butter), two types of fresh juice (orange, apple), seasonal fruits and milk. Guests may enjoy all kinds of beverages such as Greek and other coffee varieties, tea and hot chocolate at no extra charge.

Breakfast at the Ganimede includes many local dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients. A wide variety of fresh bread (whole wheat, yeast, village style, bread sticks, toasts) is offered, as well as cakes that can be combined with velvety lemon cream, a selection of homemade jams and freshly squeezed orange juice. The ingredients are produced in the region and are carefully handpicked by the owners. When the weather is good -as it usually is- breakfast is served in the garden. In winter, it is served in the dining room in front of the fireplace. The friendly service and soft music are additional factors that make the pleasure of being there more intense!
