Breakfast at the Galaxidi hotel is prepared with many pure and fresh local ingredients, cooked by the hostess, Mrs Zoe. Most products are organic or produced by the owners, like the pure thyme honey. The eggs are fresh from a local farm and the fruits from the hotel garden. Guests should try the omelet, milk, sheep’s yoghurt from a local producer, homemade spoon sweets (grape, tangerine, orange, fig), many kinds of coffee and tea as well as herbal beverages, freshly squeezed orange juice,whole wheat bread and white bread from the local bakery. The breakfast buffet is complete with fresh butter, homemade jams, which is also used in various cakes, semolina pudding (halva) and many homemade sweets depending on the season

The rich breakfast at Galaxy Hotel includes many healthy options based on the Mediterranean diet with local ingredients. There is freshly baked bread, tahini and Greek honey, cold vegetable and legume salads (lentil, chickpeas, cracked wheat), Greek local cheeses such as “feta”, “kefalotyri” and “anthotyro”, cold cuts, organic eggs, Kalamata olives and virgin olive oil. There is also freshly made Greek coffee, mountain tea, herbal teas (verbena and sage), beverages with saffron from Kozani and selected fresh Greek fruits and vegetables. For dessert, guests may opt for fresh handmade pies and sweets like semolina pudding (halva), walnut pies and jams made with fresh Greek fruits.

A breakfast buffet featuring traditional products of the region of Evritania helps guests start their day energized. There is fresh bread, free range eggs (boiled, fried or omelet), cold cuts, “tsalafouti” and feta cheeses as well as local yoghurt, jams, spoon sweets, cakes, and traditional pies with greens and cheese. Dairy selections feature yoghurt and milk, cheeses (feta, kasseri and gruyere). Veggie lovers may opt for tomatoes with Kalamata olives or Greek mountain mushrooms with leek. For dessert there is a selection of cakes, halva jelly from Farsala, grape must cookies (moustokouloura), “melekouni”, a sesame/honey sweet from Rhodes as well as “soumada”, a bitter almond juice. French toasts with yoghurt mousse and petimezi (grape syrup), or rice pudding (ryzogalo) complete a full Greek breakfast.

During winter, the breakfast at Dorian Inn is served at the roof garden, next to the swimming pool, where guests have the chance to enjoy the local and international dishes of the buffet with a stunning view of Athens.
