Greek cheeses such as feta from Kalavryta, gruyere from Crete, “pecorino” from Amfilochia, and “myzithra” from Ios are served daily. Guests may try the homemade pies such as cheese pie, spinach pie, zucchini pie, the Santorini “sfouggato”, (omelet with local sausage, white eggplant, olives and feta). Beverages like mountain tea, linden with anise and fragrant Greek coffee are paired with “melitinia” (sweet treats) of Santorini.

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Antigoni Beach Resort is based on traditional products and recipes. For starters, there are several bread varieties to choose from, and sweet treats like cake, “tsoureki” (sweet bread), honey cookies, “ravani” (syrupy semolina cake) with “”anthotyro”” cream. There are also fresh fruits and cheeses like goat’s cheese with herbs, “petroto”, feta and “manouri”. Other dairy products include fresh milk, full yoghurt and butter. Eggs are cooked in various ways, like “strapatsada” (scrambled with cheese, tomato and onion). There are also cold cuts, olives and pies: small pies with poppies (a hotel specialty), small pies with greens, pie with olives, peppers and feta cheese, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie. Spreads include flower honey, apricot jam with olive and spoon sweets. Apart from traditional Greek coffee other beverages include herbal teas like the “Kikeonas”” (wheat, spices, fruit juice and fruit peels) and “fliskouni” mountain tea.

The Greek breakfast buffet of at the Apeiros Chora includes a wide selection of traditional dishes such as homemade bread, fresh fruits, juices and compotes. There is fresh yoghurt and local cheeses, local dairy produce, eggs, cold cuts and local honey. Guests should really try the homemade jams, the herbal teas and taste desserts like cake, apple pie, cinnamon roll with a cup of traditional Greek coffee.

The Greek breakfast at the Anagennisis Hotel is served in the cozy restaurant area where guests can enjoy delicious dishes made with carefully selected ingredients with emphasis on quality and fresh, pure local products. The Greek breakfast buffet serves a wide range of local delicacies. Guests will try the homemade jams and traditional spoon sweets. Paired with bread or yoghurt, they make an ideal breakfast combination. Next, there are fresh free range eggs from the hotel farm, omelettes with peppers, “touloumotyri” cheese and Greek cold cuts as well as “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato). The pies are worth trying: The traditional “tyropitara” (with cheese) from Karystos, is fried, made with homemade phyllo. There is also “tiganopsomo” (fritters with cheese), small cheese pies, spinach pies and sweet pumpkin pie with honey and cinnamon syrup. There is also a great variety of fresh and dried fruits, juices, dried nuts and local “pasteli” (honey and nuts bar). Recommended are also the cakes and “moustokouloura” (cookies with grape must), the cinnamon and orange cookies, all homemade, the cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, the “tiganites” with sugar and honey and the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).

The Anatolia Hotel Thessaloniki offers delicious dishes with a view to promoting Greek gastronomy and the products of Greece. At the breakfast buffet guests will find a selection of delicacies starting from the bread products: freshly baked bread, “bougatsa” pie of Thessaloniki, homemade cakes as well as the traditional white chocolate coated cake with chestnuts. Furthermore, guests may taste Macedonian “pasteli” (sesame and honey bar), Macedonian (tahini) halva and olives from Chalkidiki. The breakfast buffet is based on simple, pure raw materials mainly from Greece. Various types of freshly baked bread may be topped with jams or pure Greek honey. There are also fresh fried eggs, boiled, scrambled and “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato) with crispy bacon and chicken sausages. The bakery corner has traditional pies with cheese or spinach, or ‘twisted’ with cheese and sesame and mini feta pies. Cheeses, such as Greek feta, goat cheese with pepper, kefalotyri and kaseri as well as various cold cuts are offered. Strained yogurt to combine with various nuts, dried fruits, spoon sweets. Guests can also try homemade cakes, Greek delights with rose and mastic flavors, and traditional sweets such as ‘baklava’ bites. There is also a corner with light products, fresh fruits, gluten or lactose free products for those on a diet or with special dietary needs.

For starters there is a wide selection of breads and bakery products baked at the hotel. The local cinnamon cookies, wine cookies and oil cookies, are all made with traditional recipes. The classic cheese selection is enriched by the local gruyere, the Cretan “myzithra”, the sour “anthotyros” cheese and traditional yoghurt. The cold buffet features fresh fruits, milk, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), honey, dried fruits and jams, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, cold cuts, sweet and savory cakes. The hot buffet includes “loukoumades” (dumplings with honey), omelettes or fried/boiled eggs, fruit cakes, various pies, beans, traditional “tiganites” (pancakes), baked tomatoes with mushrooms and cheese. Cretan olive oil and olives are basic staples at the breakfast buffet. As for beverages, there is fresh fruit juice, tea and traditional beverages such as “diktamos”, “malotira” (mountain tea) and sage.
