The Greek breakfast buffet at the Liostassi hotel starts with milk, yoghurt, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, fruit salad and dried fruits. There are also handmade jams and spoon sweets. Cheeses include “ksinotyri” from Ios, “skotyri”, gruyere from Ios, and feta. Guests may try the homemade leeks pie. For dessert there is homemade cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, “tsoureki” (sweet bread), and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding with cinnamon) and tahini halva.

The Greek breakfast starts with bread and bakery products from the village bakery (traditional bread, cookies with grape must etc.) The jams are homemade from the hotel’s own fruits (apricot, peach, sour cherry, fig, plum). Yoghurt is served with jams, honey, raisins, walnuts, figs from Kymi, plums from Skopelos and almonds. As for cheeses there is “ksynomyzithra” and gruyere on rusks. The “Lefkiani” is a simple omelet recipe with tomato and eggs, very popular with guests, who may also try the cheese pie made with a variety of cheeses. Sweets include orange pie, apple pie and the classic pasta flora jam tart. For those who finish breakfast and wish to carry on with a taste of traditional “meze”, there is “souma” (the local raki) and bottarga from Mesologhi, cold cuts (louza or sausage) from Mykonos, “syglino” (smoked pork) from Mani, “apaki” (smoked pork) from Crete and many more appetisers.

Guests can try homemade cakes, apple pie, fruit salad, omelet, cold cuts and various other dishes such as “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), semolina pudding (halva) during Lent and “sfouggato” (zucchini pie) during summer. Homemade jams are offered, together with real honey from the Beekeeping Cooperative of Lesvos, local feta cheese, oil rusks from Aghiasos, eggs from a local producer, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, mostly in the summer months, and also olives. Beverages include juice, coffee, milk and tea in various flavors.

Given the location of the hotel at the edge of the caldera, breakfast cannot be served in a buffet but instead it is served in the guests’ rooms. It includes fresh bread and cake from the local bakery as well as Greek bread sticks, fresh seasonal fruits paired with Greek strained yoghurt. There are also fresh cheese pies and apple pies from the local bakery, Greek honey and two types of jams. Beverages include a selection of tea, chamomile, Greek fresh milk and organic drink with crocus of Kozani, a selection of coffees, including Greek, and orange juice.

The Lakithira’s Greek breakfast includes many baked products and breads, like the zea bread, which is worth trying. There are also fresh fruits and fruit salads, dairy products (yoghurt from Kos, “anthotyro” cheese, local “krasotyri” cheese, local “posa” cheese etc). Eggs are cooked with traditional Greek recipes. Also offered are cold cuts, various pies (“labropita” of Kos etc), thyme honey from Kefalos in Kos, spoon sweets, various other sweets (“mageria” of Kos, cream-filled “bougatsa”). Guests should also try herbal teas and infusions from the mountains, like the “alisfakia”.

Many hot pies are available with various fillings (zucchini, ham and cheese, sausages), cream-filled “bougatsa”, mini spinach pies and mini cheese pies. The breakfast buffet is complete with thyme honey, tahini and “mageria” (local sweet), and “dakos” rusk. The beverages include Greek and other coffees, green tea, chamomile and chocolate.

The breakfast at Lakki Beach Hotel is prepared with love and passion. The Greek breakfast buffet includes various types of beverages, various Greek cheeses and cold cuts, eggs cooked in various ways and homemade jams with fruits from the hotel garden (figs, apricots, quince and grapes). There is also thyme honey, various cookies and handmade biscuits from Karpathos. Τέλος, υπάρχει μεγάλη ποικιλία σε καφέδες (ελληνικός, φίλτρου και εσπρέσο) χυμούς, αλλά και τσάι που στηρίζεται στις ευεργετικές ιδιότητες του ελληνικού κρόκου Κοζάνης.

The handmade pies with fillings such as cheese, spinach, mushroom) or sweet cream and phyllo (“bougatsa”) are served hot. Cheeses include the local “krasotyri” of Kos, feta and “anthotyro”. Sweet dishes include “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), the local “”mageria” ((sweet mastic/cinnamon flavored cream), halva with raisins or semolina pudding.
