Guests may choose fresh fruits, homemade omelet, as well as roasted vegetables with extra virgin olive oil. Vegetarians will appreciate the famous Greek salad or the green salad with olive oil and raisins. The traditionally brewed Greek coffee is the perfect ending to this Greek breakfast.

The Akrathos hotel offers a rich buffet with fresh Greek products. The day starts with fresh bread from the village bakery, handmade “tsoureki” (sweet bread), cakes, a variety of cookies and mouthwatering “loukoumades” (dumplings with honey) and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) with cinnamon. The fresh local eggs are cooked in various ways, combined with Cretan cold cuts, olives and a variety of small pies with Chalkidiki phyllo pastry. Peach and raspberry compotes add a touch of freshness to the hot summer days. There is also fresh milk from Northern Greece as well as various herbal infusions from the mountain. For the perfect ending, the traditional “galatopita” (milk pie) is one of the house specialities that should not be missed.

The Greek breakfast buffet serves fresh local fruits, olives, sweet cheese pies (“kalitsounia”) and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings). Guests can taste a typical Cretan breakfast with white cheese, eggs, olives, tomato, cucumber and local cookies or opt for more European flavors such as jams, butter, cake, toast and omelet. Various coffees offered include Greek traditionally brewed coffee as well as a variety of teas.

There is a selection of pies with sweet and savoury ingredients (wild greens pie, cheese pie, flour pie, milk pie and the traditional “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) There are herbal teas from the mountains (tea, sage, mint, “melissochorto”).

The Agnantio Hotel – Spa serves a wide selection of homemade traditional delicacies at its breakfast buffet. There is fresh bread, fruits and vegetables, as well as eggs and omelet with vegetables. Dairy selections include cold and hot milk, white and yellow cheese and traditional yoghurt accompanied by homemade “fruits of the forest” jam. The homemade treats baked at the hotel premises include “pasta flora” jam tart, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), chocolate cake with raisins and dried nuts, syrupy “kadaifi” with phyllo and various kinds of pies. The famous “bougatsa” pie of Serres -with cream, cheese or spinach- is highly recommended, as is the famous “akane,” a sweet treat made with buffalo milk. Beverages include various kinds of tea and coffee.

The Agnantio serves a wide selection of Greek traditional delicacies such as breads, fresh fruit, juices and fruit salads, cheeses and other dairy produce (yoghurt, traditional yoghurt, buttermilk etc). Eggs, preferably free range, can be cooked in various ways. The cold cuts and pies (cheese pie, traditional pie with greens) are really worth trying. Honey, local sweets, traditional local jams, olives and olive oil are served every day. Guests will appreciate the hot traditional pasta soup (trahanas), herbal teas and fragrant Greek coffee.

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Aglaida Apartments includes two types of bread (white and rye), breadsticks, rye rusks, cakes, cookies and semolina pudding (halva). There is traditional honey, local jams and butter. The dairy products include milk and yoghurt, and two kinds of cheese (galotyri, feta). Guests may trey cold cuts, eggs (omelet or boiled) and olives. Vegetables include tomato, cucumber and there are also fruits and compotes. The traditional pies are prepared daily on the premises and feature cheese and spinach pie). There is also fresh orange juice,various coffees (including Greek, tea and herbal beverages (chamomile, tilia).

The Agla Hotel offers a rich Greek breakfast buffet with many types of fresh bread, fresh milk, yoghurt, bakery items and jams, honey, cakes, savoury pies, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, among other hot dishes. Eggs can be cooked in various ways, like the traditional “strapatsada” (scrambled with tomato). Guests may order this specialty with “feta” cheese or some other yellow Greek cheese as well as fresh vegetables. There are also fresh fruits and juices as well as beverages (teas, coffees, chocolate). Greek coffee is brewed the traditional way.

The Aghios Prokopios Hotel serves a wide selection of Greek traditional delicacies at breakfast. There is also “trahana” (Greek traditional pasta), homemade cheese pies and spinach pies, yoghurt, fresh milk and butter from the American Agricultural School. Guests may also enjoy fresh fruits, homemade compote, jams, honey from Chalkidiki, and fresh juice. Cooked dishes include certain traditional, Mediterranean dishes such as “tiganopsomo” (fried dough) sprinkled with feta cheese and finely chopped tomato. The dessert menu includes: “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), homemade cream, “bougatsa” (cream-filled pastry), cake, homemade “tsoureki” (sweet bread), halva from Macedonia or semolina pudding (halva), lemon cake and yoghurt with honey. There are also “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) and homemade biscuits.

At the “Agia Kyriaki”, guests will enjoy a rich homemade Greek breakfast. Local bread, homemade jams and spoon sweets, freshly baked cakes, pies and cookies are some of the delicacies found at breakfast. Coffee and hot beverages complete the breakfast ritual.
