The traditional “fytoura” (semolina sweet), the pie of the day which may be cheese pie or pie with greens, or zucchini pie, all made with traditional phyllo, are dishes worth trying. Dairies include feta cheese, “ladotyri” cheese of Zakynthos, “myzithra” cheese, and yoghurt, paired with fresh vegetables and fruits. Beverages include herbal teas, Greek coffee and fresh fruit juice among others.

A breakfast buffet with local dishes is served daily at the restaurant of A.D. Imperial Palace. Guests may start their day with honey, butter and jams, as well as a selection of breads and traditional sesame “koulouri” bun. The buffet also includes “myzithra” cheese (light), white and yellow cheese, strained yoghurt and sliced turkey. There is also sliced cucumber and tomatoes from local producers paired with grilled tomatoes, zucchini and eggplants, black and green olives from the region of Chalkidiki and a selection of fresh and dried fruits. Desserts include the famous cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, the syrupy semolina cake (“revani”), as well as walnut pie, the semolina pudding (halva), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), There are also cakes and an assortment of traditional sweets in syrup. As for beverages, there is milk, chocolate, mountain tea (local) orange juice and mixed fruit juice.

The breakfast buffet of the Adiandi hotel offers homemade breakfast with local products like fresh butter, yoghurt, gruyere, feta and “anthotyro” cheese. The fresh bread is also homemade and so are the jams. Sweet pies include orange pie, milk pie, chocolate pie, cream-filled “bougatsa”. Guests may also try the “tiganites” (pancakes), chocolate and vanilla cake as well as biscuits and cookies. Savory pies feature “tembelotyropita” (cheese pie) and spinach pie, which are also made on the premises. There is also classic “dakos” rusk with tomato and cheese.
Guests will also find various fruits, local honey, bread sticks with carrot and gruyere and homemade omelettes. Cold cuts are available and traditional hot “trahanas” soup is served in the winter. Coffees, tea and herbal teas are offered, as well as fresh orange juice from the hotel garden.

Guests will also be treated to traditional seasonal sweets.

The hotel’s Greek breakfast buffet includes many local dishes and ingredients like a variety of cakes, mini “”loukoumades”” (honey dumplings), a selection of local pies, “avgofetes” (French toasts), pure butter and local dairy produce as well as cold cuts. There are also fresh seasonal fruits, chocolate cookies, cereals and yoghurt.

The Acheloides serves a wide selection of Greek traditional dishes for breakfast, such as local butter, freshly baked bread, tahini spread, honey and handmade jams. One of its specialities is the local “batzina”, a milk pie with village style phyllo dough and goat’s milk. Guests will also find yoghurt, cakes and delicious apple pie. Eggs are cooked in various ways, all from the village from free range hens. The breakfast buffet is complete with “trahanas” (traditional pasta) soup, hot and cold beverages.

A sip of the local liqueur Tendoura of Patras, will complete the gastronomic feast!

The 1821 boutique Hotel serves a typical Greek breakfast that includes bread and milk from Doliana, excellent handmade spoon sweets and jams, honey from local producers, sweet or savoury pies made with local recipes (cheese pie, pie with leeks, milk pie, mushroom pie and sweet pumpkin pie). Omelettes with eggs and local sausages complement the breakfast buffet.

Guests may start their Greek breakfast with coffee (Greek and other types), tea, and freshly squeezed orange or lemon juice. The breakfast buffet includes a wide selection of bakery products such as three types of fresh bread, various rusks, homemade cakes and cookies, dried nuts and dried plums of Skopelos. The freshly baked pies are really worth tasting, especially the traditional cheese pie of Skopelos, the pie with greens, the onion pie and the “fouskopita” (pie filled with fresh local cheese of Skopelos). Dairy products, milk, yellow cheeses, and a selection of cold cuts are served every day, as well as eggs cooked in various ways, including “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato). Guests may taste yoghurt from Skopelos with compote or plum sweet. The traditional spoon sweets, the “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) are not to be missed.
