The Greek breakfast buffet includes milk, coffee, bread, bread sticks, whole grain rusks, mini “dakos” rusks, bread with raisins and traditional sesame “koulouri” bun. As for juices there is tomato, grape fruit, apple and orange. The eggs are cooked in various styles and there is also yoghurt, tahini, honey, dried fruits and fresh fruit salad. Spoon sweets, “loukoumi” (Turkish delight) and “pasteli” (honey and nuts bar) are offered on a daily basis. Hot dishes include fried “kefalotyri” cheese, breaded feta, “formaela” cheese (fried on a tomato slice) “anthotyro” and feta cheese pie, village style spinach and cheese pie, zucchini tart with feta, village style sausage from Epirus, “trahana” (traditional pasta), “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato), omelet with zucchini, and eggplants with feta. Desserts feature “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), fried slices of apples in phyllo, vanilla cream, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).

The Greek breakfast buffet at the Olympia is based on fresh products, starting with bread varieties and traditional sesame “koulouri” bun. There is also a selection of fresh fruits and orange juice, fresh homemade cake, traditional handmade “bougatsa” with cream or cheese, honey and homemade jams. Guests may choose among feta cheese, a selection of local cold cuts and sausages, strained yoghurt and full milk. There are also eggs (boiled or omelet), Kalamata olives and fresh local tomatoes. Beverages include tea from organic herbs of Olympus, Greek coffee and spoon sweets.

Breakfast is exclusively made with fresh Greek products prepared by the landlady. In winter, a “trahanas” soup or a creamy yellow pumpkin soup is the perfect starter. The “trahanas” is made with wheat and goat’s milk and the organic pumpkins grow in the hotel estate. In summer, breakfast starts with tomato soup. The jams are prepared by the landlady with fresh fruits. There are bread rolls and a Greek version of croissants made with fresh Corfu type butter and Zea flour. Recommended is the “tsoureki” (sweet bread), the “loukoumades” (honey dumplings) and the “tiganokouloures” (fried buns with feta). The handmade phyllo is used to make cheese pies, pepper pies, pies with olives, zucchini pies, spinach pies, pies with wild green, pies with leeks and pies with feta. Recommended are the small dough nests filled with “kasseri” cheese and ham. The fresh milk, butter, Greek cheeses and cold cuts complement breakfast. Desserts include chocolate creams and lemon scented “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), fruit cakes, “pasta flora” jam tart, milk, orange or walnut pies and spoon sweets, to name but a few. The fresh fruit juices are made upon request.

Breakfast is served in front of the restaurant fireplace, with stunning views of the lake and the mountain. The breads are freshly baked at the local bakery and the eggs are locally produced. There are also cold cuts and cheeses from the region of Serres such as feta, “manouri”, “anthotyro” and white cheese made with buffalo milk. The homemade yoghurt from buffalo milk is rich in proteins. Guests will enjoy sour cherry juice or lemon with honey and “moshomoloha” (apple geranium). Some traditional dishes are “lalaggites” with cheese and “tiganites” (pancakes) with honey or jams. Occasionally, guests are treated to “loukoumades” (honey dumplings). There are also pies with wild greens (nettles, “lapata”, spinach and fennel) or pies with cheese. The handmade bougatsa pie of Serres is baked on the premises. There are also fresh fruits and compotes, boiled and grilled vegetables, local honey and jams as well as handmade “pasteli” bar with honey and tahini. A sweet soup with wheat (“kolyvosmos”) will provide guests with all the energy they need. Beverages include mountain tea, and herbal teas like “trivoli, sage and “flamouri” tea.

The breakfast at the Odeon includes a wide selection of Greek traditional dishes. There are homemade cakes and sweets, as well as omelettes with fresh eggs. Guests will also find homemade jams, pies (cheese pie, wild greens pie and zucchini pie), fresh bread and local honey. The breakfast buffet also offers fresh juice, fruits, compotes, homemade croissants, coffee and chocolate.

The hotel Oasis serves a wide selection of traditional delicacies at its breakfast buffet, such as handmade barley bun of Karpathos, organic tomatoes from the hotel’s vegetable garden, olives, free range eggs and Greek feta cheese. A house speciality worth trying are the pies with “myzithra” cheese of Karpathos. Also offered are seasonal fruits from the garden, yoghurt with honey, handmade jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea.

Breakfast at O&B Athens Boutique Hotel is prepared daily on the premises with top quality ingredients, featuring many hand-picked Greek products. There is fresh bread (village style or whole grain) on the buffet, as well as Cretan barley rusks, fresh fruit, fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, vegetables, fresh Greek milk and yoghurt that is accompanied by traditional spoon sweets, honey, dried nuts and home made jams. Traditional Greek cheeses from Lesvos, Crete, the Peloponnese and Central Greece are paired with cold cuts from Crete. Eggs dishes include omelet with olives and traditional “kagianas” (scambled eggs with cheese and tomatoes). The Greek flavors are complemented with olives, olive oil, cheese pie and spinach pie. Greek semolina pudding (halva) and homemade apple pie are part of the desserts selection, to be enjoyed with Greek coffee.

Breakfast at the Nymfes can either be enjoyed by the fireplace during the cold months, or under the shade in the courtyard, during the summer months. Breakfast here begins with a traditional pie of the day, with extra fresh local ingredients, which is always prepared and baked on the premises. Guests may taste fillings like “louvoudia” (wild greens from the forest), nettle, mushrooms, red peppers from Florina, leeks, minced meat, zucchinis and cheese. The fresh bread is served with locally produced butter and homemade jams (with strawberries, cherries, peaches and apricots from the region). The hotel kitchen also bakes various cakes and serves mini apple pies which are fried on the spot. The traditional rice pudding “ryzogalo” is also offered and guests can choose how they wish their eggs cooked. There is also a selection of cold cuts and cheese. Beverages consist of coffee and various herbal teas, made from organic herbs, handpicked in the forest.

There is a traditional cheese pie, assortment of breads, cakes and biscuits, jams, honey and spoon sweets such as grape, sour cherry, fig, and bergamot.
