The rich Greek breakfast at the Mirabelle is based on pure and authentic local ingredients. Guests may start with eggs, cold cuts, fruits, compotes, cakes, pastry creations, breads, and rusks. There is “tsoureki” (sweet bread), biscuits, sweet and savory tarts, yoghurt, jams, honey, salads, and fresh juices. Worth trying are the freshly baked pies with cheese, spinach and meat or the hot “trahanas” soup (traditional pasta) and the local “praousto” jam with yellow plum. Local cheeses include gruyere, feta, “kasseri”, “myzithra”, local “prentza” and “ladotyri”. Desserts like “pasteli” (sesame and honey bar), “mandolata” (nougat), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), milk pie and homemade semolina pudding (halva) are also served. Local specialties include “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomatoes), rusks with raisins and wine, the “bobota”, made with corn flour, cinnamon, orange juice and grated walnuts. Worth trying are the melted eggplants with garlic and tomato, or the “belousiotika”, water onions with beans and mustard or with boiled potatoes, garlic and other herbs. Guests should also try the spicy handmade tomato sauce on crunchy bread: the “riganada” with grated cheese. For the perfect ending, Greek coffee and herbal teas are also offered.

The breakfast buffet is filled with local specialties made of pure ingredients. Guests will find freshly baked bread, local yoghurt with honey, barley rusks and gruyere, multi grain bread sticks, fluffy omelettes, classic “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with cheese and tomato), olives paired with fresh vegetables and juicy fruits. Pies with cheese, greens or with “myzithra” cheese are baked on the premises with handmade phyllo dough. Sweet treats include jams, milk pie (“galatopita”), spoon sweets and semolina pudding (halva with raisins and walnuts sprinkled with cinnamon), hot apple pie etc. Beverages include Greek coffee or a fresh juice to keep guests energised for the rest of the day.

The Greek Breakfast offers products from Paros, the Cyclades as well as the rest of Greece. For starters, there is a choice of herbal beverages such as mountain tea, verbena, chamomile and sage. Spreads include jams, tahini, honey, halva, and a selection of spoon sweets from Chios. Guests can have Cretan “dakos” (barley rusk) with various types of olives, small tomatoes from a local producer and virgin olive oil from Crete. There are also cookies and rusks from the traditional bakery, cakes, “fanouropita” (traditional pie), French toast with honey and walnuts, apple pie or cream-filled “bougatsa” pie and pasteli (honey and nuts bar). Dried fruits and nuts accompany the Greek yoghurt. There is also “ryzogalo” (rice pudding) and a variety of fresh fruits.

The selection of cheeses from the Cyclades features dry “anthotyro” and “ksinomyzithra” from Paros, gruyere from Naxos, “kopanisti” from Mykonos, and “basket feta” cheese from Limnos.
Hot dishes include “kagiana” (eggs with cheese and tomato), savory French toasts (with tomato, feta and omelet), “patsavouropita” pie, spinach pie or cheese pie.

The hotel’s daily breakfast consists of dishes made with fresh, pure, handmade Greek products. Served, in the summer, at the veranda with panoramic views of the amazing gorge of Vikos, the breakfast buffet features fresh bread, traditional “twisted” cheese pie, jam with seasonal fruits, pure honey from local producers, fresh butter and yoghurt, cold cuts, and cheeses from Metsovo. Guests may also enjoy eggs from the village, traditional handmade pies of Zagori, such as “alevropita” (flour pie), cheese pie and zucchini pie, traditional “trahanas” (pasta) soup, and all kinds of coffee. For dessert, there is fresh handmade apple pie and “pasta flora” jam tart, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, and milk pie made with fresh handmade phyllo dough. To conclude, there are also herbal teas from the mountains and fresh orange juice.

The Metropolis hotel offers fresh homemade products at its Greek breakfast buffet. There is handmade bread, fresh orange juice, local honey and jams, village eggs from local suppliers, and traditional pies with cheese, spinach, chicken, or sweet pumpkin. Cheeses include “kaseri”, feta, and “galotyri” and local “trahanas” (traditional Greek pasta) is also served. There are homemade sweets such as “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), vanilla and chocolate cream and “pasta flora” jam tart.

Breakfast at Metropol hotel consists of various delicacies such as the “bobota” pie of Thessaly (made with corn flour and wild greens), the “batzina” pie of Thessaly with zucchinis, as well as a traditional wild greens pie and a feta cheese pie. Eggs are cooked in various ways and are also fruit jams, yoghurt and fresh milk. Vegetarians will appreciate the tomatoes and olives from Kalamata, dried fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The Meteora Hotel serves a wide selection of traditional delicacies with emphasis on Greek products. Fresh bread from the local bakery, various cakes, fresh fruits, juices and locally produced vegetables are offered. There are also dairy products (yoghurt, traditional yoghurt, butter etc), free range eggs (cooked in various ways), cold cuts and pies (cheese pie and traditional pies with greens). The local delicacies are naturally showcased, such as “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato with “syglino” pork), the “lalagia”, the “diples” (fritters) and pies with village style phyllo dough (pies with fennel and a special milk pie). The famous Kalamata olives make their appearance as spoon sweet. Healthy options include fresh fruit juices, fresh milk, Greek yoghurt, cereals, thyme honey from Kythira, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables. Breakfast also includes a wide selection of Greek and Messinian dairy products and cheeses such as “sfela” and “talagani as well as Greek cold cuts.
