Η κυρα-Μαρία, κάθε μέρα φροντίζει να υπάρχει κάποιο φρέσκο γλυκό, όπως καρυδόπιτα, ραβανί, μηλόπιτα, ενώ δε λείπει το κέικ, το οποίο (όπως όλα τα γλυκά άλλωστε) φτιάχνεται από φρέσκα αυγά, τα οποία μπορεί να γευτεί κανείς και σε διάφορες γευστικές παρασκευές!

Από το πρωινό δε θα γινόταν να λείπουν οι χειροποίητες μαρμελάδες, το χωριάτικο ψωμί από προζύμι, το τοπικό γιαούρτι και το ελατίσιο μέλι που παρασκευάζεται από παραγωγούς της περιοχής με όλες τις απαιτούμενες προδιαγραφές.

The Tarsounas mansion serves many Greek and local delicacies at breakfast. The vegetables and eggs are organic and all the ingredients are carefully selected. Breakfast starts with three types of fresh bread, cherry cake, bread sticks with sun flower seeds and sesame and cookies with pieces of cherry. There is also a variety of fruits and orange juice. Guests may also try “batzo”, feta and “”kasseri”” cheeses as well as milk and yoghurt from Arnisa. There is also fresh cow’s butter and green olive oil from Macedonia. Eggs are cooked “strapatsada” style (scrambled with tomato and cheese). There are also jams and spoon sweets, flower honey and cold cuts from local producers. The pies are baked on the premises: cheese pies, leek and cheese pies, spinach pies with “trahana”, pies with minced meat and sweet “patsavouropita” pie, to name but a few. Black olives of Chalkidiki are also offered, and “zymarosoupa” (boiled pasta in milk, served with honey and fruit). As for beverages, there is mountain tea, cherry flower chamomile, Greek coffee.

Breakfast features many traditional Greek recipes prepared with fresh local ingredients.
Guests may choose among a variety of breads and homemade jams, honey from local producers, natural orange juice, Greek cheeses such as “kasseri”, “ladotyri”, “anthotyro”, “myzithra”, fresh fruits or homemade compote, handmade cookies, eggs, top quality cold cuts and handmade yoghurt. The fresh pies are made with homemade phyllo and pure ingredients such as wild greens, Greek cheeses, zucchinis, peppers, leeks or sweet pumpkin with honey and raisins.
In the winter, guests may start with traditional herbal beverages like mountain tea, sage, linden (all picked from the Pelion mountain) and enjoy handmade “trahanas” soup (traditional pasta), dried fruits and nuts, apple pie with walnuts, cream-filled “bougatsa” pie, cake with plums, “pasta flora” jam tart “tiganites” (pancakes), “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), cream and “ryzogalo” (rice pudding). In the summer the options are more refreshing and include “dakos” (Cretan rusks, “ksynomyzithra” cheese and fresh oregano, tomato, olives), “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato), sponge cake, cake with peaches and many others.

Breakfast at Archontiko Orologopoulou features a variety of handmade and local traditional products. The fresh traditional pies (“armiopita”, cheese pie, spinach pie, olive pie, chicken pie, minced meat pie) are highly recommended and there is also a selection of breads and egg-based dishes like the traditional “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs and tomato.) Eggs are accompanied by sausages, bacon, cold cuts and cheeses (“metsovone”, feta, “kasseri” “kefalotyri”), fresh fruits and vegetables. Homemade jams, freshly squeezed juice and herbal teas, Greek coffee with mastic from Chios and cardamom are also served. Desserts include delicious mini pies filled with praline, cream or lemon and halva, cakes and handmade “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), During Lent guests will taste sweet delicacies such as tahini, semolina pudding (halva), “pasta flora” jam tart and “saliari” (traditional sweets of Kastoria).

The breakfast buffet serves many Greek and local delicacies, starting with fresh white and multigrain bread, bread sticks, buns and “tsoureki” (sweet bread) as well as fresh fruits, fruit salads and traditionally made fruit compotes. Guests will also find three kinds of jams and two kinds of honey from local producers. The breakfast buffet includes yoghurt and other dairy produce such as fresh milk, fresh butter and five kinds of cheese (feta, “anthotyro”, “kasseri” from Volos, gruyere from Mytilene etc.) with local olives. As for herbal beverages, there is tea, mountain tea, chamomile and linden. Guests should try the compote with apples from Pelion and boiled chestnuts. There is butter and boiled or fried eggs, as well as omelet. The pies are made in the guesthouse (milk pie, pie with greens, cheese pie, zucchini pie and “bougatsa”. Daily delicacies are “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), fresh cakes and various sweets with jam such as “pasta flora” jam tart.

The breakfast buffet at the Archontiko Metsovou hotel offers a traditional breakfast made with locally produced ingredients. Guests will find many types of handmade cookies, lemon cake and bread sticks in various flavors, local honey, fresh butter as well as handmade spoon sweets. The traditional jams of Metsovo such as strawberry, peach and cherry are worth tasting. There is also traditional yoghurt, a selection of fruits, two types of bread made on the premises, fresh orange juice, salad and olives. There are several traditional pies such as cheese pie, pie with leeks and cream-filled “bougatsa”. As for cheese, there is feta of Metsovo, gruyere and “metsovone” (smoked). The local eggs are cooked in various styles. Guests may also enjoy all kinds of coffee (including fragrant Greek coffee) and various types of herbal teas and infusions.

The Greek breakfast at Archontiko Liamas is freshly cooked with local products. The bread basket has three types of freshly baked bread from a traditional bakery and bread sticks with mountain seeds. There are local jams, fine honey, traditional strained yoghurt, spoon sweets from garden fruits, cold cuts and dairy products from a local unit. The house specialties include crunchy pie with feta cheese and aromatic herbs, cheese and almond “bourekakia” (rolls), “poughi” (pouch) filled with feta and olives from Chalkidiki and omelettes with wild mushrooms and olives. There are also refreshing juices, full milk, herbal tea as well as Greek. Sweets treats include “tiganites” (pancakes) and “loukoumades” (honey dumplings).

A traditional Greek breakfast is served at the “Archontiko Fiamegou”. Fresh local products and handmade pies, homemade jams and local cheeses, wholemeal bread and village style bread are some of the products found on the breakfast buffet. Local eggs, (boiled or omelettes), spoon sweets made on the premises, orange and carrot cakes, are only a few of the homemade delicacies the hotel guests can enjoy.

Breakfast at the Archondiko is handmade and prepared by the hostess, who cooks local dishes and specialities on a daily basis. The main ingredients on the menu (eggs, greens, oranges, cheeses, olives and oil) are fresh and sourced from local producers. Guests may start their day at the Archondiko with a cheese pie of Roumeli, a pie with zucchini and trahanas or a wild greens pie. There are also various jams, paired with fresh bread, butter and the famous thyme honey of the region. Local cheese products, trahanas (traditional pasta), fresh eggs (Mediterranean omelet), olives and olive paste add a savory touch to breakfast. Desserts include cakes, “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), vanilla cream, yoghurt with honey, “kourabiedes” (Christmas shortbreads), cookies with cinnamon and orange. Freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, milk, mountain tea, beverages and homemade liqueurs accompany the guests’ breakfast.

The Apollo Resort Art Hotel serves a wide selection of traditional dishes, starting with various types of fresh bread, fresh fruits, juices, fruit salads and vegetables. There are also local cheeses and other dairy products such as traditional yoghurt, eggs and omelet. Guests will also find cold cuts, handmade pies such as cheese pies, pies with wild greens, mushroom pies, chicken pies, potato pies and pies with pasta. Other products feature “tahini”, honey, “pasteli” (sesame and honey bar), dried figs and local spoon sweets.The handmade cakes and sweets such as orange pie, “loukoumades” (honey dumplings), “ryzogalo” (rice pudding), dairy creams and the local traditional jams stand out. Other Greek specials include olives and olive oil, Cretan “dakos” rusks, hot traditional “trahanas” soup, herbal beverages and Greek coffee.

The Greek and Continental style self service breakfast at the Aphrodite hotel serves many fresh bread varieties delivered daily by the village bakeries. There are also traditional wheat rusks and homemade jams by the local Women’s Cooperative. There wide selection of cereals is offered with fresh fruits and milk or yoghurt with various dried nuts, raisins and plums. There are also homemade biscuits and cakes, as well as a wide choice of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, olives, local cheeses and “mandamadiotiko” yoghurt. There is a choice of cooked eggs dishes (fried, boiled or omelet), sausages or bacon. The hotel bakes fresh pies daily (cheese pies, spinach pies, zucchini pies) or “tiganites” (Greek pancakes). Other desserts include French toasts and traditional sweets such as “galaktoboureko” (custard cream in phyllo and syrup) and semolina pudding (halva).

Certain dishes are prepared in front of the guests, such as fried eggs, “tiganites” (pancakes) and “strapatsada” (scrambled eggs with tomato).
